This path of selfless service is based on the example provided by Amma, who has dedicated her life to humanitarian and spiritual work and is a living expression of this Karma Yoga. Amma Center of Michigan is home to 54 acres of lush, pristine green pastures located in Ann Arbor just 10 minutes from downtown Ann Arbor. Ann Arbor has its own unique style of entertainment and cultural diversity and is home to the world famous University of Michigan. The Amma Center is one of three current ashram sites in the U.S. and the North American headquarters. The Amrita Karma Yoga Program is a residential program only for those interested in staying at the ashram for 2 weeks to 2 months. Current projects accepting Karma yoga volunteers for light construction and landscaping You can make a difference - whether you choose to participate as a guest for a weekend or a few months internship, many crucial projects could benefit from your time and energy.
