The warming center at the Unity Church in Royal Oak is open during the cold winter months (until March 17). The purpose of the warming center is to offer residents an opportunity to stay warm during the day in very cold weather.

Amma center of Michigan conducts a warm clothing drive once a year to provide warm clothing for the warming center. We collect clean, gently used, or new clothing for adults. Items are collected until the last weekend of February.
